here is to a zingy week with ginger
well hello Monday!
here’s to a zingy week:
- 2 carrots (unpealed)
- 1 tbs ginger
- baby cucumber (unpealed)
- whole lime (pealed)
- strawberry/grape cubes (*) or 4 strawberries + 4 grapes
- 2-4 sprigs of fresh watercress
- 2 cups of water or 1 cup of water + 1 cup of ice cubes
i make smoothies for Ayla and pour left overs into ice trays for the next day. i use them instead of ice cubes for her or just to add a tad of sweetness into my green smoothies.
i have stopped adding fruits into mine, especially bananas. if you are suffering from PTSD, then most likely you are also adrenaline and/or cortisol fatigued, which causes blood sugar issues.
in that case, i found apples, kiwis and mango to be a better option. if i use grapes, i use 2-4 pieces only.
stress kills, unless you kill it first.
so, get some rest, drink your greens, stay away from negative people, wrap yourself with positive people that love you, try to work out a little every day….keep smiling!
